Terms & Conditions – Inventive Institute of Technology

1. Introduction

By enrolling in any course, accessing our website, or using our services, you (“Student”, “You”) agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions (“T&C”). Please read this document carefully before proceeding.

2. Student Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and up-to-date personal and educational information — misrepresentation may lead to cancellation of enrollment.
• Conduct yourself respectfully during classes, assessments, and any institute‑related activities.
• Respect the intellectual property of the institute: course materials, notes, digital resources are for your personal use only, and unauthorized copying, sharing, or resale is strictly prohibited.
• Use any resources provided (lab equipment, library, digital resources) responsibly and ethically.

3. Enrollment, Fees & Payment

• Enrollment is confirmed only after the institute receives complete registration and payment of the initial amount (as specified at registration).
• If applicable, the remaining course fee may be paid in monthly EMI installments, according to the agreed schedule.
• All installments must be paid on or before their respective due dates for uninterrupted access to classes, course materials, and institute services.
• Institute reserves the right to adjust course fees for future batches, reflecting changes in curriculum, course duration, or other institutional updates.
• Consistent delays or failure to make payments may result in temporary suspension or permanent cancellation of access to classes, materials, or other institute services.

4. Refunds & Cancellations

• Once registered and fees paid, course fees are generally non‑refundable. This rule applies especially if cancellation or withdrawal is initiated by the student under normal circumstances.
• If the institute cancels or fails to deliver the course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. insufficient enrollments, force majeure, operational issues), the student may choose between:
  • A full refund of the fees paid, or
  • Transfer of enrollment to another batch (if available).
• Any exceptional refunds (if offered) are subject to institute’s discretion, and may involve deductions (e.g. administrative charges, processing fees).
• Additional charges (e.g. registration fees, convenience fees, third‑party payment processing fees) — if any — may be non‑refundable, as per institute’s policy.

5. Intellectual Property & Use of Materials

All course content — including lectures, notes, digital materials, slide decks, software, assignments — remains the exclusive property of the institute. Students are granted a limited, non‑transferable licence to use these materials solely for personal learning. Any reproduction, distribution, resale, or commercial use without explicit written permission from the institute is prohibited. Violation may result in termination of enrollment and/or legal action.

6. Limitation of Liability

The institute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation (or inability to participate) in courses, including but not limited to loss of time, income, employment opportunities, or other indirect losses. The student agrees that the maximum liability of the institute (if any) will be limited to the amount of fees paid by the student under the enrolment.

7. Termination of Access

• The institute reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to classes, course materials, or institute services if you:
  • Fail to meet payment obligations (EMI/fee dues),
  • Provide false or misleading information at registration,
  • Misuse institute resources, or violate conduct, academic integrity, or intellectual property rules.
• Termination may be immediate and without refund, depending on the severity of the violation.

8. Changes to Terms & Conditions

The institute reserves the right to amend, revise or update these T&C at any time. Any changes will be published on the institute’s official website (or communicated via registered email/notification). Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated T&C.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these T&C shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu (the institute’s jurisdiction).
